Moderation is the key

A proper and healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle are the biggest challenges of our time. In a modern family, with fast-paced way of life and individual habits leave little room to both women and men to take the time to commit to a healthy diet on a daily basis. However, assuming that we are healthy and have no major health problems, following the golden rule of life that „Moderation is the key” is enough for a healthy and balanced life. What does this mean?

Healthy eating means eating a variety of foods in moderate amounts. Eat your meals slowly, without haste and be aware of the importance of bringing food into the body, making sure that the food is neither too cold, too hot, too salty, too sour nor too spicy.

However, as everybody is different and does not require the same nutrient intake, it is necessary to “listen” to your body. If we learn to follow the needs of our body and feed it accordingly, we can avoid many diseases and slow down the aging process.

Nutrition affects a person’s health, mood, creativity and efficiency. Humans have an inborn need for sweets, so sugar plays a role in our diet. A balanced and healthy diet makes sense only if we achieve and develop a positive state of mind and enjoy life. Because, at the end of the day, the point is to be healthy so we can enjoy life and all the flavors that life offers us. In this way we achieve our body’s overall physical and mental health.

What is also essential for a healthy and balanced life is to introduce the rule of minimum 20 minutes of physical activity a day (walking, fast walking, running, cycling, hiking, yoga, gymnastics, etc.) and spend as much time in the fresh air as possible. But what is equally important is to rest and relax properly.
