Japanese Style Salmon

Ingredients:

500 g salmon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoon AGRAGOLD Demerara brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
4 teaspoons mustard

1 teaspoon rice vinegar or white vinegar

Preparation method: Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Slice salmon to 4-5 even slices and place them on an oven tin lined with a buttered aluminumfoil. Sprinkle the salmon with salt and pepper.

Place salmon in the oven on the middle grill rack and broil for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, mustard and vinegar in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar melts. Pour the sauce over the salmon and put back in the oven but now on the top grill rack. Set the top oven heater on high and broil the salmon with sauce for not more than 2 minutes until it turns golden brown.
